juggernout

Post by SteveDM »

hello everybody I'm SteveDM from NOCS Italy Team
I would like to bring to your attention a question regarding the Juggernaut. I believe that in a tactical server where the main goal is to make the game as similar as possible to a real war action, inserting a perk like this is not correct because during the war period where Call of Duty World at War is set there were no bulletproof vests yet, would it be possible to prohibit this perk to make the game more fluid?
Thanks and welcome back to the battlefield

I would agree that juggernaut defeats the purpose of a hardcore server.

Jugg doesn't bother me either way. I use it on some classes others I don't. As far as no body armor in WWII is concerned you are very mistaken. The US had the M12 they issued to Marines at Okinawa. A simple google serch revealed to me that all "Axis and Allies" even had body armour in WWI.

Well Guys I am using Jugger in a few perks, and still i am killed dozens of time during a map. I really don't know how good or bad the jugger works. It is a perk, it is available and allowed so let it be available.
As Devine said, it was available during WWII, I did not know that it was available in WWI.

happy hunting All

To me its more of a balancing issue of the perk being too overpowered. It ruins the point of having the server hardcore, when it takes 2-3 more bullets to kill someone with jugger. Especially when using a bolt action or shotgun. And stopping power isn't Even enough at times.
To me it takes all fun out of the game, when i die just cus the other guy has juggernaught and can tank a million bullets before dying... :?

My biggest question is where do we draw the line? After jugger what would be next?

We all make the same reply when trying to kill LOLR, if voting I say yes to it's removal, if were are getting some players not playing, lets try its removal.

As I have been playing with people with the Jugger perk, I've learned to adjust my playing style to compensate for Juggernaut. Like D said, for every perk there is another perk to help compensate.

But the problem still persists even with the use of either stopping power or double tap, which are the perks that in theory should counter juggernaught. But still juggernaught users manage to survive an extra bullet or 2 compared to everyone else, which is just unfair and to me, not something that should be allowed in a server that puts it focus on tactic and realism. Just yesterday i had an encounter with lolr, where i shot him 6 (yes 6) times with the mosin, some through wood but some were it was clean and straight on.

It has gotten to a point where i am considering stopping playing on the 10th server, simply due to the overwhelming amount of juggernaught use.
